Socially active and politically empowered, ASEAN youth have been provided with many platforms to share their ideas and advocacies and promote cross-cultural understanding on a regional level. Examples of these youth platforms are the Ship for Southeast Asia and the Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP), and the ASEAN Youth Forum (AYF). They allow the ASEAN youth to join in cultural activities that encourage cooperation and enhance ASEAN awareness. They also provide a chance for youth to represent their countries and act as youth ambassadors, empowering them to generate alternative perspectives in seeing the world through their interactions and learning of other's perceptions. 

Southeast Asia has a rich and diverse set of cultural tourism resources. Thus, tourism is one of the priority sectors under the ASEAN Economic Community pillar. We expect that by 2025, ASEAN will be a quality tourism destination offering a unique and diverse experience that is responsible, sustainable, balanced, and inclusive to contribute significantly to the socio-economic well-being of people. Therefore, ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan (ATSP) 2016-2025 was made.

 There is no doubt that CO2 emissions cause global warming. Since the early 1800, scientists have found that greenhouse gases in the atmosphere trap heat. That is why Professor Johan Rockstrom stated that by 2020, we need to bend the global curve of emissions. Then, by 2030, we are required to cut emissions in the world by half. "That is the way to land Earth on a safe trajectory for the future in ten years," he said as the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research director at Davos.
